Subject Objective Summary
Qur’an Reciting Qur’an fluently  with proper Tajweed Juz  23-30 (Chapters 39-114)
Surahs For students to memorise selected  Surahs Surah Yaseen (Chapter 36)
Du’aas To learn essential Duaas (invocations) in the life of a Muslim Duaas when experiencing favourable or unfavourable conditions, At the time of rainfall and others.
Fiqh To learn about the Islamic laws of jurisprudence. Topics include adulthood & issues relating to Teenagers.
Tafseer Basic study of the meaning of Quraan Explanation of the last 10 Surahs (chapters)

 

Teachers

Imraan Moosa
Imraan Moosa is the Principal of the South African Islamic Centre and is from South Africa. He is a Haafidh-ul-Quraan (memorised the entire Quran) and has a Masters degree in Islamic studies. He is well-versed in the areas of Tafseer, Hadith (Sayings of the Prophet (P.BU.H)) Jurisprudence, and Arabic Grammar.

Sufiyah Patel
Sister Sufiyah is from the UK, and has an Islamic degree from Mohammed Zakariya Academy UK and has a BA Arts degree and an MA in Religion and Society. She is also a qualified secondary school teacher and prior to joining SAIC, taught in a private Islamic high school in the UK, for 16 years.
