Subject Objective Summary
Qur’an Reciting Qur’an fluently  with proper Tajweed Juz  9 – 15(Chapters 10-18)
Surahs For students to memorise selected  Surahs Surahs al Ghashiyah (Chapter 88), al a’laa (Chapter 87) At Tariq(86), Al Burooj (Chapter 85), Inshiqaaq (Chapter 84)
Du’aas To learn essential Duaas (invocations) in the life of a Muslim Duaas (invocations) include visiting the sick, cemetery, at the time of death & others
Fiqh To learn about the Islamic laws of jurisprudence. An Detailed study of the rules of Salaah (prayer) and the practical aspects of prayer.
Aqaaid To learn  the correct beliefs of a Muslim Topics include Attributes of Allah, Quran, Signs of the last day and others
Akhlaaq Learning Etiquettes and character building. Topics include how to conduct oneself with family, friends and neighbours. Etiquettes of dressing, eating, toilet, sleeping as well as others.
Taareekh To learn about the Prophets of Islam An intensive Study of the dates and events in the Life of Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H)
Hadeeth To memorise sayings of the Prophet (P.B.U.H) in Arabic and English. Topics include harms of the tongue, using right hand, Qur’an, protection of Allah, Attributes of Allah.

 

Teachers

Yaseera Mahomed
Muallimah Yaseera is from South Africa and has completed courses in Islamic studies.  She has been a teacher at SAIC for the last two years and enjoys teaching children.

Naeem Patelia
Muallim Naeem is from South Africa and completed his Hifz of Quran from Johannesburg. He has an Accounting and IT degree. He has taught Islamic classes at SAIC since 2017 and has experience in teaching Quran for many years at various institutes.
