Subjects Taught         :  Qur’an, Surahs (Chapters), Du’aas (Invocations), Fiqh (Jurisprudence), Aqaaid (Beliefs), Akhlaaq (Character), Taareekh (History) and                                                   Hadeeth (Sayings of the prophet (P.B.U.H). 


Subject Objective Summary
Qur’an To recite the Quran correctly applying the rules of tajweed Juz  1 – 3 (Chapter 2 Baqarah)
Surahs For students to memorise selected  Surahs. Surah Takathur (Chapter 102), Qaariah (Chapter 101), Aadiyaat(Chapter 100), Zilzaal (Chapter 99), Qadr (Chapter 97).
Du’aas To learn essential Duaas (invocations) in the life of a Muslim. Wudhu (ablution), Salah (prayer) duaas (invocations) and others.
Fiqh To learn about the Islamic laws of jurisprudence. Rulings pertaining to Wudu (Ablution), Salaah (prayer) and other acts of worship
Aqaaid To learn  the correct beliefs of a Muslim Topics include Purpose of Creation, pillars of faith, pillars of Islam, hell, heaven
Akhlaaq Learning Etiquettes and character building. Topics include Knowledge, caring for animals, respect, honesty, helping the needy
Taareekh To learn about the Prophets of Islam A brief history of the Prophet (P.B.U.H) , his birth, childhood, youth, marriage, prophethood, preaching, migration etc.
Hadeeth To memorise sayings of the Prophet (P.B.U.H) in Arabic and English. Gratitude, yawning, smiling, relieving yourself, anger, honour of a Muslim


Hira Naveed

Hira Naveed grew up in Pakistan and obtained her Masters in Islamic Studies from the University of Bahawalpur, Pakistan. She also has a Diploma in Islamic studies from Alhuda International welfare with 2 advance courses in hadith. She has been a teacher at SAIC for the last six years.
